i've never seen these until rummaging around galyans the other day. they've got a heavy shiny stainless steel (the outside for the most part) ball sinker, attacked to a bucktail, with that sparkly-shiny string (you know what im talkin' about smart ass :p ) with the bucktail. just wondering if anyone has tried these...i think they'd be awesome with a nice long stankin' piece of squid or maybe a fishbite. i tried doing a search online and i couldn't find them.

That same rig caught Anthony's keeper flattie @ AI...I don't use them cannonballs, but maybe Ant and FLF can shed some light

They are called silver bullets, at least from what I've heard, I know there are other names but I forget what they are. It's a decent rig but best worked when you have a trailer or teaser hook with the rig. I've caught more on the other hook than the silver bullet itself. I know that Bass Pro carries them as well as walmart and sports authority.

Really well.
Secret tip - Put a long, thin, strip of squid on the trailer and increase your trout and flounder catch. ;)
