no Computer.

Actually I stole this Idea from Jim the Pinko, but it seemed perfect for the BS board.
Here goes, you're stuck in a cave with a record player and no Computer, Which 10 albums would you take with you?

Lynard Skynard, Pronounced
Molly Hatchet, Flirtin with diaster
James Gang, Rides again
Delbert Mclinton, Best of
Bob Marley, Ledgends
Traffic, John Barleycorn
Juthro Tull, Thick as a brick
Santana, Best of
Jimmy Buffet, Songs you know by heart.
Last but not least, Hot Tuna.

Well, that's my list, no special order, just hit random play. In fact six of those albums are in the CD player in my truck right now.

You can tell a lot about a man by the Music he keeps. It seems that the Pier and Surf gang is a well rounded group of Music lovers.

I was homeported out of the Metompkin when it was in Charleston, SC. Now, I'm looking at getting stationed there come March. I will be looking to go to the Dallas or Gallatin. Rather would head back to Va Beach however. When I was on the Metompkin, our captain enjoyed fishing quite a bit. When we were off shore beyond the sight of land, we used to patrol, or should I say pa"troll" in squares. Converted the .50 cal machine gun posts into the perfect rod holders. We would have 3 lines out at a time. Clutch ahead on one engine was 8 knots, perfect for hooking up with tuna.

No shame in finding the contraband. Thoroughly enjoyed destroying all of it at sea. I only put the smiley faces on there to keep identities unknown. I've lost contact with some of the guys in the pictures and don't know if they wanted their face showing.
