Sorry Orest, don't have one but, I can tell ya what I know about it.
Ben was a well know surf guide on the Outer Banks for years, he teamed up with St Croix when they need help in surf rod design. Just like Garry Oliver did with daiwa. Most factory rod guys are composit weenies and don't under stand guide spacing, Ben really helped them in the respect. The blanks are good quality for the buck and they use decent guides and the Spacing is right. The only draw back to me is the cork tape grips, never found them to be comfortable, too skinny for my hard.
PS St. Croix has come a long way, in the old days they had some "Issues" with their product, not any more.

Orest, I don’t have that rod but I have the Ben Doerr 10’6”MH and its been a good rod. At first the handle felt a little uncomfortable like Wilber I like a handful of cork. But this type of handle seems to be standard on modern surf rods.
At that price you can’t go wrong – do they have any more?
