Car parts, tools, tackle boxes..Best part was having the stepkids over for christmas. That made my wife's christmas and mine. Did I mention 1 case of micky's beer, 2 cases of Sam Adams,1 case of coors all from the neighbors. I bought a small refridgerator for basement and they stocked it. Guess we all will be watching the redskins and cowboy game sunday. They are skins fans and wife is cowboyfan. I will referee as I do notlike either.

Sounds like everybody did great!! Merry Christmas :-)
I lucked out and got some great stuff too:
2 LL Bean fishing shirts, very nice
2 Guy Harvey fishing T-Shirts, (the wife has already hid them so I can't mess them up immediatly}
3. cool Boston Whaler fishing hat, has a adjustable strech back band to keep it on your noggin and a safety leash.
4. 7'6" Redbone rod with a 360Penn Slammer (bought it for myself :D for 20% off at Sports Authority)
Went to the beach this morning at 6 for "sunrise service" sadly the wind was howling, and the blues were absent.
Happy Holidays and good health to everyone.

I got the same ... Called to get one on Thursday. They are OUT of stock on all models.
Guess I could order from the catalog, but I would rather not pay shipping so I will wait.
I'll let you know if I find out they have them and would appreciate it if you would do the same.
Thanks!

I received a telescopic float fishing rod. "Guincho" 4,96 metres of Superior Hi-Module carbon with 450 Gpa resistance and Kevlar X wrap, divided in 6 sections and 9 tungsten rings, titanium reel adapter.
Beautyyyyyyyy
This is my favorite shoreline fishing technique. Any float fishing fans there?

p.s. I wouldn't mind a waterproof digital camera. I saw one from sony, it only had 2.1mp.

I lost my favorite Canon Digital Elph S100 to the saltwater and sand this year. Makes me sick to think about it. Took BEAUTIFUL pictures.
Using another now (Fuji) that is trouble to get focused correctly, yet takes good photos.
I seldom take this camera to the beach for fear of the same problem.
I guess I could get another good camera with my Xmas $$, but I want a conventional surf rod and reel...
All I need is more $$$$$

stillskatin you did not say what kind of waders. I use 3mm neo's and just wear wool socks and blue jeans under them or go all wool if it is really cold. My top is a t-shirt with a wool ragwool sweater and a regular wind breaker ar maybe a pull over raincoat. I would love to get a "surf top" or a kayak top. But most people are good to go in "Fleece" and it should work well for you.
Highcap I will let you know when I find it. Reels on Wheels lists them as out of stock as well and their price is 154 on the JR so I expect them to show up in both places about the same time.

Me, first and the best part, spent the weekend Holiday with Mom and Dad, my sister, four brothers, an aunt and uncle, one wife, two daughtersand eight neices and nephews (ranging from 4 years old up to nineteen), and it was one enjoyable madhouse.
Me the best "fishing" related gift was a Gortez weather suit, now, now sitting in the Jeep in the rain, be able to stay dry no matter what!
Have Jeep will travel :D
