Natural Remedy for Gout

Anyone have gout or know anyone that have gout? Just wondering if anyone knows some type of natural herb or something that might decrease the amount of flare ups... thanks.

I've heard a daily regimen of cherry juice........also lay off booze,beer and red meats;ah hell ,drink more cherry juice and hope that works :D .......not really funny though :rolleyes: ....the R

Eat less meat. Your body creates uric acid from meats. Some people get gout from uric acid, I get kidneys stones from it. Usually doctors prescribe Allopurinol for it. It's not too expensive and doesn't seem to create side effects.

yeah.. i just had another flare up of gout and man, it is painful... feels like someone slammed a door on my foot and the throbbing pain is there for 3 days... percocet is a lifesaver...

I'm going to try to check out cherry and cherry juice. my co-worker just said that works also... thanks for the info rhondel...

Blue Bird is on the money. I've taken Allopurinol with no side effects.
