14' Mako eating 200# Tarpon

Heres a little something y'all might find interesting. A est. 1100# mako just off the beach in Pensacola eating a huge tarpon. A group of local cobia fishermen came up on him and actually snagged the tarpon and took it away from th shark. What was left was close to 200#. They rebaited with a chunk of tarpon and hooked the mako but eventually lost him. They got it all on video and all who have seen it say its unbelievable. man, that was wild. Reminds me of a story my brother in law tells about tarpon fishing when he had a big tarpon on, the line went slack (tarpon was getting ready to jump) and a 100# tarpon jumped a few feet out of the water where it was then cut in half in mid air by a 8ft hammerhead. :eek:
