does anyone do this or are the pots better ? maybe a little insight :)

Dude, when I had my boat, I'd just take a couple traps with me and leave 'em at a creek mouth on my way out to fish. I don't know what the legal limit for pots is now per person, just took the max that was legal. Had more crabs than I knew what to do with after I found good spots to drop 'em. Lots of peeler ta boot :D

The guys I know who run lines, it's an all day thing with no time for fish'n :(

would probably be better for me , as i can barely juggle my fishn rods by myself :p ,it was more directed for the kids who go and get tired easily and then want to bug :eek:

get yourself a little net and tie a chicken neck on some string with a 2oz weight and drop it over when a crab grabs it pull it up slowly and net if

you are going to have to anchor in low/moderate current...can't drift a trap and chicken on a string is hard to work with fast current...park on a bar...you can "still fish" for spot and the like or cast a jig/bait for flatties...good luck
