Just of note of thanks to those who post here. The site is a wealth of information and has been a great aid in my recovery. You guys cover everything from naming a Bud's boat to cheering a first catch. I'm heading to the water tomorrow rain or shine! 11 months of cabin fever to shake!Thanks for reminding of one of life's pleasures.

Yup, this board will keep you from getting bored. ;) And the next thing you know you're out there on the beach/pier at 2:00 a.m. with a strange guy with a cigar in his mouth and a brew in his hand talking about - what else, fishing - while trying to pick a bunch of seaweed out of your tackle. :p (Right Digger?)

That is what I think this place is about. Some fishing but a lot of friendship. No better way to meet people that enjoy the same things as you do than right here. Sorry to hear your first outing wasn't great but like you said it is always great to get out on the water. And welcome back! :D
