i see a lot of post's speaking of the thrill of the catch. i dont see many post in regards to eating
them. i am one who has never experienced catching one.
my questions is, is it as good catching one and eating or just for the catching?

a day fishing is better than a day working . :D

They are definitely good to eat, ever heard of blackened redfish? Almost wiped them out. Nowadays most people release them as they are challenging to catch and are a great fish to fight. Also there is a slot size the fish have to be in to be kept so the large breeders get released. Hope this helps.
