Guy that owned it told me it was a little hard to tame as far as casting.. Smooth drag,as with all Diawas. I did not like the way it felt in my hands,spool is too high to be casting with,but nice reel for other applications.. JMO

The Saltist is a less expensive version of the Saltiga I dont know much about either reel but I do know that the Saltiga was designed for the power braidsd lines and the larger ones work well for offshore fishing.

Real smooth casting, takes a little bit of work to dial it in. I have a few friends that use them.
