Bloody hell

I got a request from a marketing agency today looking for stats on pageviews and unique visitors (one of their clients had been mentioned several times and they wanted data on the site).

I ran some metrics and found that we're now averaging just over 10,000 pageviews per day and 14,000 unique visitors per month.

A far cry from those first few weeks in 1999 when I slapped together a rudimentary board and hoped a couple of people would show up so I wouldn't have to keep calling tackle shops and piers for reports.

great site flea. i know that now when i see someone fishing at lesner instead of asking if they are catching anything i first ask them if they are a memeber of P&S. thats the way i have met several of the guys on here. fih4food, db77 to name a couple of the recent ones.

Geeze, my wife might be right, spend too much time here on P&S :cool: , but like I told her, if I can't fish, might as well hang out with a few friends and talk fishing, or just BS.

Matt, you know how I feel about the site, so will leave it at thanks, it has given me more than I could ever hope to contribute, and that is just in true friends made, now if I talk tips and hints, well, just put the breaks into the 30SHV.

This site was mentioned in an issue of Saltwater Sportsman last spring I think it was. I'm sure that's helped alot too. Man, I've been on here over three years now, amazing.
