Today, or i guess its yesterday now, anyway, monday, dad and I got to go to the practice rounds at Pinehurst No. 2. We got there just in time to see Tiger finish up on Number 18, then we followed David Toms, Scott Verplank, and Justin Leonard around for a while. After that we saw John Daly. I got some pictures, a few of which i'll share. I would put more on here but dial up is too slow and i get frustrated waiting for them to upload. ANyway, it was a great time and awesome to see how straight these guys hit the ball. Also, when you see the computer models of the holes my dad and a friend of his did all the topo work to give the modelers the data they needed to create the computer generated holes. It was really cool, i got to go out with them one time on spring break. The greens are like upside down bowls, its gonna be rough if it warms up and they get harder. Even today with them fairly soft from all the rain we've been having there were balls falling right off.
