The wife and and kids headed to the Rusty Ritz this past weekend and left me quietly at home working on the house, which was fine by me.
Sunday evening at dusk the wife and Wilber II (17) were taking a stroll down the Kitty Hawk beach, just talking and taking it all in. All of a sudden in unison they noticed a cloud shaped exactly like a White Marlin which took up most of the evening sky. Wilber II two says "Mom it's the back side of the moon in August", Mom says "with the light NE breeze, back side of the moon and the omen cloud all the conditions are perfect for a killer White Marlin bite on Monday".
Wilber II says, he wished they had a trip booked.
Well, I checked the OI website the fleet caught 93 Marlin on Monday.
The moral of they story,
"Never underestimate a women or a child when it comes to fishing knowledge"
