His Name was Peter

I don't even know if anyone out there that is reading this knew him but....My name is Michael and caldaqui (Peter) was my older brother. He passed away this past Tuesday (8-22-05). I'm posting this because he loved fishing more then anything in the world. He would always tell me stories about some of the wonderful people on this board that he has met on fishing trips. He used to always say that fisherman were deep thinkers and some of the best advice you can ask for would come from a fishing pier. So to the anonymous people out there that have touched me indirectly through my brother, thank you for being his friend and keep fishin...he would've like that.

To you and your family. I did not have the pleasure to talk to your brother, but I know what it's like to loose one. My brother Ricky past away when I was six. He was 24. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss, but I am also sorry for OUR loss. We will miss a FAMILY member! It matters not where you are from, what you do for a living, how much you make, what your lifestyle is, what kind of car you drive, etc...it only matters that you love fishing. In that, we are and always will be kindred spirits. I know not what your religion is, but I do know that the Apostle Peter was a fisherman, so take solace in the fact that he was appropriately named. Our sympathy and prayers go out to you and your family. May Peter continue to be always a fisherman.

A thousand thanks and a heart felt thank you for everyone that took the time out to send their condolences. I really feel that my family and I aren't the only ones greiving for my brother now. So, my condolences goes out to the PAS family. Peter will be missed, have a good trip bro.....cast one for me.
