Headed out of rudee around 5am pulling clark spoons for some spanish (hopefully) and some blues. Tried staying close to the beach this time early am water was dirty so slowly headed se in search for clearer water, got into some good bluefish hits around sandbridge with some decent 2 pound fish. Finally caught a spanish around 12 in pretty sad. Anchored up way south off back bay, managed 1 sandbar shark went almost 4ft and thats about it. Nice day on the water though not too hot. Lots of menhaden off damneck still. tight lines...................geo

Havent recovered from the last sheepshead fishing disaster yet!! Too much finesse involved, kinda like bass fishing, gave that up years ago ha ha. So much easier to sling a big chunk of cutbait over the side open a cold one and wait for the clicker to go off. Might try sheepshead next year, probably not gonna hit the bay much or get too many more fishing trips out this year getting ready for bow season. Wasnt around last year to hunt much so gonna make up for it this year. Anyways been fishing much??? tight lines.................geo
