I don't know about anyone else but by far this is the worst year of fishing I've had in a long time I was wondering anyone else looking to the fall as much as I am?

Kinda startinbg to feel the same way!
It took so long (about a month behind) for everything to get situated down here, now it looks like everything is going to be late going out!
Most unusal year!

They had a blitz Sunday afternoon between Ocean Grove and Asbury Park New Jersey. Lot of bait in the water up here, so it may just be all messed up and start early....??? who knows... keep ya posted if more come up in the next couple of days... salt

I'd consider it as one of the better yrs I've had.. More drum caught, quite a few cobes around (caught a few,not what I would have liked, but that wasn't the cobes fault cause there were plenty of bigguns..) spainish weren't what they have been, but there were lots of bluefish around to make up. Good run of seamullets, and pompano. Lots of offshore fish this yr from billfish, dolphin, and wahoo to tuna.. Many kings from the boats for this early. The alberts have made a small showing on the beach along with a few spainish and bluefish. Pups have been at Hat inlet off and on as well as in the sound. Finger mullet are reported off the beaches already. Doesn't sound all that bad to me?? I am an optomist most of the time, but down here there have been a few fish to talk about anyway..
