Beings i bought a slosh 30 and i don't read japanese.......would someone please tell me how in the fire do i put the dang brakes in? Thanks in advance.

and yes i turned the page over to make sure the english version wasnt on the other side....... :D

I can tell you how I put mine in. But I can't read English, so I dunno if I actually did it right.
Take off the sideplate. (I'd start with two red blocks, IMHO.) Slide one block on each of the thin metal rods. I put mine in with the round ends facing out???
Now, there're gonna look like they won't stay on once the spool starts spinning. Don't worry, they will.

OK...this is easy:

1. When insuring the reel is in place, please to sure that spool is not attached.

2. After insuring so, please to make sure all parts are there.

3. No left out anything.

4. Stick in 2 red and leave alone after reassembling.

5. Try please to cast, but no hard as may contain lead, which also can be hazard to health.

got SEVERAL of the leather thumb guards. been down that road many times. nope no birds nest they might try to say its a plover nest :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
