I've had the 17lb on my heaver for awhile, not bad, put it on as a cheap line to practice casting and it works good. Been fishin withit too. It may get stiff when it gets cold though..

Seen that stuff used on the piers here a few times at night,we call it "Stealthline"... :D
that stuff will never go on any of my reels...

I remember reading somewhere that it was very difficult to tie (as in knots). This is why I've not bought it - I have a hard enough time tying knots as it is!

I specifically tie with cajun linr for a guy I know and I have never had any problems with tying knots. Now, maybe tying certain knots? Who knows, but I have never had a problem with it.

Whats the purpose of red line- red doesnt disapear at depth it just fades to gray. Clear monofilament is colorless at any depth. There were problems at first with cajun line drying out and getting stiff after use, but since they sold out to shakespeare it may have been improved.

It's very strong, but that's it. It's strength comes from being a 1/1000th bigger in diameter than its counterparts in a given weight.
Seems very stiff to me, and kinky....doesn't cast well.
Did I say it was strong?

never used it in a higher test...i have 14 easy cast on a plug rod and have had no probs...as for the color...i have heard that clear goes to grey and red disapiers...the reason for red hooks...
