Just got a catalog in the mail today, called the Surfcaster.

Don't know why I got it, but it has a lot of nice products.

Planning on purchasing one of their custom casting rods, probly an 11'-12'. Anybody got any experience with their custom rods and what kind of quality they are? If it makes a difference, I'll be using it with a Diawa Grand Wave conventional reel.

Thanx for any input.

Don't know about their rods, but I've got a lot of stuff from them over the years. The license plate rod holder worked well for years for me.
They're about the only place I could get Charlie Graves tins and Robert's Rangers from since I'm in South Jersey. And they've done some Crack reel work that was very good.
Always a good experience dealing w/ them.

They have in the past done very nice work. Their rods are built more on the North East style as opposed to the rods built on the Outerbanks. Softer Action and more parbolic, Slower tapers. Of course I am a little partial to my own customs. Working on one for Fishertim right now.
