Definitely would not work on sand. If it's for transporting gear just on a pier, might get tired of the wheels popping across the boards. You'd definitely have to modify the wheels to some air filled wheels.
Looks like it might be OK for a well built pier. Can't see it doing too well in soft sand, or hard sand with 100 lb of spot in the cooler.
Have a great day, Tim

It may work for trips with light tackle. You know i have 5 freshwater rods that I bundle up and try to balance on my shoulder while carrying a cooler and a tackle box. I guess the concept would work for freshwater/light tackle too.
I only say this because the rod holder for the butt end, looks very small. But hey what ever works for you, what ever you can afford is what you will end up getting.
but i do agree with the sand thing, those wheels may be wide but there does not appear to be that much clearence.

I got that cart two years ago. It’s a flimsy piece of junk: the construction is so light it falls over it you put any weight on top - it would never stand up in any kind of wind. It feels more like a kids toy than a serious fishing cart.
On top of that the company stinks. When I told them of my concerns they said to send the cart back and they would give me a full refund. I’m still waiting.

Yeah, it does look weak and better suited for fresh water. How long have you been waiting for a refund so far?

Went to Lowe's. Bought the yellow garden wagon for less than 60 bucks. Has rubber tires and will carry as much as I can pull. I have had two coolers of ice on it and 8 rods along with spikes and tackle. It is 2 years old and as good as new. Hose it and wd 40 after every use. By the way I added 2" pvc rod holders.

Pauky,
We went back and forth with “costumer service” and our credit card company for over 5 months, last time in Jan 2004, with no luck. It’s not enough money to hire a lawyer so we just got screwed and that’s that.

FishBait,
If you have their fax number, you can set your computer to send a fax to their number every 3 minutes with 10 pages of blank paper. That will get some much needed attention.

Hey JL,
Please tell, How do you do that, send faxes repeatedly using your computer. I am sure others would love to know how.

John, We had to end the vacation because of a death in the family. On Monday I will be in NJ for funeral services. Any time after Tuesday I’ll be ready for some fall fishing – big time.
Del
JL, that’s an intriguing idea.

I'm not able to find that webpage that I read about some guy jamming up a company's fax machine, but here is a start.
http://www.student.uit.no/~paalde/revenge/tah.html#SECTION00436000000000000000
This is good too...
Write whatever you wish on 9 pages of
8 1/2 by 11 inch paper and tape them together (end to end).
Dial the victim's fax number and start sending the pages
through. After page two has been transmitted, tape the top
of page 1 to the bottom of page 9 making a continuous loop.
The document will continue to cycle until the victim's fax
machine has run out of paper. Be sure and disable your phone
number from being printed on the fax and also disable caller
