Hell, at least there are some teams that have a quarterback to go down. Would have loved a quaterback, even if he had to go down, would been a first for us.
As for the Monday night game, well, no quarterback, no Ray Lewis, and, no Ed Reed. Can one say me in need of more than a miracle?
Well, here is to at least keeping the game competitive.

San Francisco had the #1 pick and got
Alex Smith....lots of growing pains
ahead for them.
I doubt if baltimore will be willing to
go the same route with a rookie
quarterback. They will probably
look to get a proven "younger"
veteran in there and build a better
supporting cast around him. By the
time a rookie got up to speed the
defense will have changed due to
age and or free agency.

Bud, I really think that the Ravens problem
was self induced. They won the Super Bowl
with Dilfer and then traded him? What
was that about? Just did not make sense.
Just goes to show...do not fix what ain't
broke.

Hell, didn't even trade Trent, and alot of us were pissed, they never even tried to sign him, he just didn't make many mistakes. As to going for a "quarterback", well, that's what Boller was supposed to be, B'more's quarterback, now, admittedly got thrown into the fire early. but short of giving my first or second born, would give my left or right nut to have the Dilf back, and yeah, he got the RAW deal.

I'm a Browns fan and have been since I could hold a football (born in Akron) and as much as I detest Mr. Model and everything about the Ravens you can have Trent back.... he SUCKS.

How the tide turns. Just a few weeks ago
everyone was saying what a great
addition he was for Cleveland. :D :D

Even though he doesn't have that great of a supporting cast the leader has to be effective for the team to succeed. I think we're still suffering from the fact that we didn't get an expansion/rebuilding draft and the way the team was thrown back together. Did I mention I don't think much of Art Model ?? :p

Hey Jay b, when the Colts bolted for indy, nobody cried, Cook had Tagliaboohoo in his pocket, we tried for expansion and we were blocked, but indy had a team, still Baltimore went back out and tried for expansion, and at every turn blocked. Then Art did the same thing, and still think he is okay, got his Super Bowl, yet though Baltimore was just whining when the Colts left town and that damn drunken hearsay took them to indy, nobody cared, then the Browns left Cleveland, at least we let Cleveland KEEP the Browns namd and history, indy has th Colts NAME that bel;ongs in B'more.
Look at the picture, how long did it take Baltimore to get a team (though, I KNOW how it feels to lose one that way), but how quick did Houston, and Cleveland get a team back?
How long did it take Baltimore, going through the expansion blocks and all?
Yeah, wanted a team, eventually we accepted the fact that we might have to buy one liike indy did with ours, and the one thing I can say, is whatever, we tried, block, so end aroun,d and we still suck!

Shaggy my man all it shows to me is that pro football realized just how wrong it was to let a team slip out of town for a bu!!$#it reason.
You guys were first and they tried to make it more palatable for us Browns fans. It's still wrong and Model still used a BS reason (lack of fan support.....right) to do it.
I am glad for the fans in B'more as I do know how it feels. Just another rivalry for this Browns fan though. ;)
