Relocate what lives there naturally so you can dive for shellfish, only in california. They were theyre before people were diving and how do you ban an animal from somewhere? :rolleyes: "To appease fishermen, Fish and Wildlife banned otters in 1987 from California waters south of Point Conception near Santa Barbara -- with one exception."

Well next time someone says they arent spending enough money on schools tell them to go watch the TVs at new high school in Norfolk. They just had to have 4 new 42" flat screen plasma TVs in the food area, now who can guess at how much each TV cost,,, I will give ya a hint, the guy installing them was driving a Full size Hummer :eek: if ya guessed $10,000. each you win but the tax payer looses :(

I trap Otters and it is a shame that biologist did not know what any experienced trapper knows, that you would have to move them 1000 miles for them not to come back. An otter can travel up to 30 miles in a day that is on land and in the water. Go figure, its just like the birds down in NC spending 100's of thousands of dollars per bird per year when they could capture the eggs incubate the eggs raise the fledglings and release them were they live. :(
