I can't believe all this hype fer a gaming system..
yeah I want one...but this selling strategy that Microsoft is pursuing...well IHMO... will cause more harm than good.....

Personally, I don't really see the need to
go out and get this new system right now.
There are not any "must have" games
for it out yet. The "basic" package
costs $300 and you do not even
get controllers or a hard drive/memory
device for it....meaning you will have
to go out and spend another $100 plus
just to have a "basic" system. I hate
false advertising.... :mad: Yeah, but
you can buy the "enhanced" version
with the controller for $400 plus. :rolleyes:
I would stick with the PS2 or XBOX, and
then give the PS3 a good look when
that comes out.

I'm going to be one of those people. I don't know if you have checked E-bay lately but they are currently selling for $800-$1800.

Nothing like making a few hundred dollars for standing in line ( $200 p/hr)

Sony PS2 killer.....i don't think so....yeah..enhanced graphics...more memory than my werk an home 'puter combined....

But overall bundle packages....I'll wait till it is in mass production...so I ain't gotta purchase the controller an accessories seperately...jus like the 1st generation XBoX did.

u get more than that included for base price @ sony besides the power and extras are sweet. they are saying between 400-500 this spring. my ps2 can keep me going till then. itll be well worth my investment.omg and all the possible things u can do with it with your home theatre,pc, and all old system capabilities as far as games,m. cards. :D

The 360 and the PS3 look nice but I'll be holding off for a while on both I imagine. Most of the good titles for xbox and ps usually make it to the PC anyway, and with a good video card you can hook your pc up to your tv to do most of the media crap.

I never got in to the video game craze at a young age. I can thank my frugal mother for that. I'm lucky enough that I was outside doing sports and cutting grass. I was the last person on the block to have the NES. The Super Nintendo was actually out in stores when I got my NES. I did have an Intellivision growing up. The damned thing still works! As does my Apple ][ E with such great games as Oregon Trail and Number Crunchers.

The only games I play are on my PC. I just finished Half Life II and that by far is the best game with real time physics and graphics to boot. I have started to become a Couter Strike junky, but limit myself to 90 minutes a day max.

VIC-20 and then C-64 was the hot system... hard to imagine back that far typing on this P-3+Gig Dell.

I don't play many video games anymore. I enjoy them, but I get hooked too easily. Rather be outside and not glued to the tube.

I have two boys so they have (not me although i bought them all) nintendo-not played anymore, super nintendo-not played anymore, PS1, pS2, game cube, game boy and game boy advanced have 2 of both of them, also have tons of games for all systems. Mostly sports for the PS2 have every year of madden, ncaa football, ncaa basketball, NBA live and MLB.

The only thing I actually play are the Ledgend of Zelda and 007. I let the kids whip up on me in football baseball and basketball well OK i try my best but hell they still kick my ass LOL oh yea I do play Tekken.

and yes they are hinting around about the PS3 so hey I did what every loving parent would do .....I told him to get a job LMAO........I am sure my wife will get them one in May that is the younggin's B-day. so I guess I will have to be the one getting a job a second job that is LMAO

Where you by any chance playing as the redskins :p . When I play madden on my computer which I rarely do anymore I make the dolphins much better and win everytime. I just find video games to get boring after awhile.
