Trying to fish this weekend and wondering if any action has be in the surf. Will try SI tomorrow morning. Cold is in the air around here...

Went yesterday afternoon and did well. Nothing in the docks but when we drifted over and down the channel.... WOW fish every cast for 45 minutes then we ran out of bait and sun. What a way to get back at it. Nice snapper around 2lbs. Sea trout banging the bait. Ladyfish hitting and jumping all over. My buddy and my son were on the boat and we had a triple with the ladies...
Sun setting, facing West, three tight lines, orange sky, not a boat around, and ladies jumping trying to free themselves breaking calm the flat river that was orange next to the sky. When that happend we all looked at eachother and knew why we were there...
I NEED A BOAT!!

Forgot... When to SI Sat morning... it was 38 degrees and got shrinkage along with a short hookup guessing Red. Only saw one black Drum landed it two hours.. Very cold and no production. Worst I have seen it.
