Ceramic Bearings on Abu

I have read that the ceramic bearings are better. I was wondering if I change them on the reels . . . is that the only thing I have to change. I have never taken apart an Abu reel.

They will increase your speed, they will increase your smoothness. They are expensive and they do require oiling and maintence.

If you are using the reel for "just" fishing then abec 5's are fine. IMHO.

Now, that said I have ceramics in everything I use other than the Avet. :eek:
