At first glance, I thought you cut your finger on some braided line or something.

Wetland drainage is a sad thing.. It's happening all over the world, and there will be many species wiped slick from this.. The long term impact is yet to be determined.. I can see this happening, where I live and where I lived before for over 20yr as well...:(

Not saying I agree with it, cause I dont, but it pays my bills, wetland delineation is the profession of choice for me. I sometimes think Im hurtin the cause, but sit and think, atleast theyre calling us to come locate wetlands for them so they know what theyre impacting instead of trying to sneak past USACE and DWQ and fill it all in. What they dont tell you is the restoration and mitigation to areas that used to have wetlands but farmers drained them, kind of areas. Sad that theyre losing more than saving though. I work in wetlands everyday and the ecodiversity is emence and very interesting.
As for the fish, you rarely see fish that small in the larval state. Dont think we covered that one in fisheries management in college:eek:

Now there's a spitting contest who's got the smallest. Apparently, this one is (http://www.uwnews.org/article.asp?articleID=22209).
