I gotta hat, too.
It's a VERY faded, dirty, oily, Ga. Bulldog ball-cap that the folks on the Jacksonville Pier absolutely HATE......It's in my avatar pic, turned backward to better fight a 29# Jack Crevalle.
I wear it just for them.....

For huntin, I have a pair of Rocky Bear Claws that are about 8 yrs old now and they are the best pair of boots that I have.
Fishin.......I have an older Ugly Stick lite that I love to toss 1/4 oz bucktails with.

Danner, don't even bother with anything else. For rubber boots I like the Lacrosse alpha burly's (uninsulated for early season archery/muzzleloader), but for the rest of the year I really like my Danner Canadians. That particular model is kinda pricy, but Danner makes some less expensive models that will likely hold up just as well.

Not that seasoned of a salt to have favorite gear, but here goes.
Well I got some lucky stuff, a nice sun faded green tshirt. Got lucky twice wearing it, wore it every fishing trip last year. That may have screwed up my Karma or something.
til now, I have fished mainly from the piers or rail at IRI so a old pair of tennis shoes does the trick as well as a old pair of jeans.
After freezing my a$$ of last spring, I went out and bought some insulated pants and some good rain gear. Wet and Cold are ok if the feesh are biting, but when they are not it sucks.

Not so much comfort, but color.. Seems Green and Blue produce better.. I gota dark blue cordoroy shirt, and a green carhart jacket, them things really get ta stink'n round the end of drummie season, but gotta stay with what works.. Washin em during the season, while you're catchin, washes all the good juju out ya know??? ;) :D :p

Amen to that.....I agree with everything said there. I have the brown 200gram rainforests....$250 lil pricey but will put rockies outa buisness if everybody tried just one pair lol
Im in the wetland delineation field and sometimes Ill wear my danners when I shoulda wore my Alpha Burleys and the Danners get stiff when they dry like any other boot...but dont get dry and brittle like the others...little danner boot dressing (NOT MINK OIL!!!!!) everynow and then and uve made a life time friend.
Any Danner reps out there readin this...never hurts to have another pair. That was good promotion, dont I deserve sumpin?? lol
