My bad on the title, I meant to say cabela salt striker. Saltiga reels are way too expensive...
anyone know if cabela salt striker reel is a popular brand(daiwa, shimano, etc) reel repainted? looks like okuma avenger...

saw it today for 39.99 dollars at cabelas... there are two models, Metal and regular... I believe metal has all stainless steel components... they have this reel featured in front of their salt water catalog... interesting...
anyone know better reel for the money?

I have 2 of the SS-40 reels on Predator rods that I use for throwing spoons. I think they are a good deal, no problems so far.
