While going through my freshwater box, I thought of a question. How do you tie on those spinners or buz baits that are famous for catching bass. Since mine do not appear to have an eye, but more of a bend where the line goes...Is it tied on directly, or with a snap swivel, etc.
Thanks

Buzz and Spinnerbaits should be tied directly to the line with a Uni or Trilene knot... Some buzzers and spinners do not have a line loop, but just a notched bend as you mentioned. That's where the knot goes.

Thanks railroader, I have never used a spinner or buzz bait, guess Im a bit intimidated as these lures are bigger than most freshwater fish that I have caught.
Well I guess the saying goes big bait big fish :)

FMJ..
There are few things that will give you a charge like a big ol' bucketmouth blowin' up on a buzzbait.....
Sometimes it looks like someone threw a brick in the water where your lure was.....
Very exiting, and one of my favorites for bass.

try those same buzzbaits and spinners in the salt, reds and trout like to knock the pi$$ out of them too (and sometimes even flounder).

You've certainly proven that, Ryan.
