It's NASCAR time, ladies and gentlemen. The first Bud Shootout is Saturday.

Anyone who wants to play in the P&S group, please click the link in the post below. This group is open to anyone here who wants to play. Even those AC Rednecks. :p

So, sign up and let's go racin.

Bucket and Dixie, ya'll ready to buy me some beer. :p As far as bets, you want to do the same deal as last year? Winning driver gets a 6-pack. The driver who fisnishes the best out of our picks gets a 40oz. No bets on the Challenge? Or the Challenge winner gets a 40oz each, too.

This year we should keep a running tab on who owes whom what. And post it each week.

Cain't none of us can add worth a chit.

The Bud Shootout rocked. Denny Hamlin? Where'd he come from. He drove a good, clean race. The kid's got talent.
It doesn't hurt to have the #20 watching your back, either.

Jr. had a good race as well. I still have hope for DEI this year.

I wish somebody would have put the #5 car into the wall today. :mad:

I say we keep it simple with the pick the race winner to win a 40oz from the everyone like last year. For ESPN league, should your team score most points for the week out of are ESPN league participants that race weekend that's a 40oz :p

For pick the race winner each week we set an inital order and then rotated each week so you'll get to pick first at some point ;)

Yes the 6 it is ! And I'll ride with my driver MM the Ross Perot, Monoply man, and Buffalo Bills of NASCAR right to the winners circle :D

One of my brushes with and claims to fame was when I met Martin at an autograph signing in 1989 at a Raleigh auto parts store where virtually no one showed up so I was able to walk right up to him sitting behind a card table, have him sign his Maxx race card, and wish him well in his run for the Winston Cup that year :cool:

The more I look at the Ford Fusion, the more I hate it. OK, there's not that much of a difference (or none) between manufacturers in NASCAR. But as far as street rides, the Chevy Monte Carlo SS and Dodge Charger are in a whole different league.

The only thing Ford makes that even comes close to those cars is the Mustang. :rolleyes:

OK I do not need to see qualifying. I dont pick based on who wins the pole. Heck they usually are a bunch of sissys that cant race when there are others on the track anyways. I will stick with my rock em sock em wreck em Tony Stewart to win at Cal.

The only thing I can hope for is that he goes after the rest of that team. He took out i am a fag Gordon and i am a cry baby kenseth now he needs to take out I am a cheater Johnson LOL

GO GIBBS RACING and Tony Stewart. Everyone knows he had the best car at Daytona hit by gordon and basically sent to the back and went to the front to lead then sent to the back by NASCAR and still managed to get back to fifth. Now that is a strong car. Good luck you guys.

Its all luck. Vegas is the Busch brother's home track but that doesn't mean they both will place well. Kurt should do well, provided he can keep his foot out of the pedal throughout the whole race. In a long race you got to run well enough to have enough at the end. Example: Biffle at Cali. He kept it buried, ran off from everyone, but killed the car. Kenseth laid back, ran clean, and got his chance. Its still luck. Look for Gordon to do well this week. Oh Yeah: I will pay up on them 40oz. You boys just keep stirring the poop, I love it. Dixie we need to put a limit on when we can select our drivers. Some of us have things to do on sundays and cant be waiting around until the last minute to pick our drivers. I say we should make it midnight day before a race then it is first come first served. I will not be around at the green flag therefore I guess I will call you and give you my driver Actually here it is Stewart if he is available if not then I will go with Kahane then newman, kurt bush (like the dodge this race) gordon

Yep scored the ESPN race for Dover and locked up Segment #1 as well :D RF228 did have Kenseth this weekend and a close second (AKA the 3 car's first loser) for segment 1 :cool:

I also won first segment last year so now it's all down hill from here so yall tighten up eh as it is a whole new race for the beer :D

also according to the espn schedule there are only 2 segments and the first one runs for 26 weeks the secnd for 10 weeks so you have a long ways to go before you "wrap" up segment one.
