Hooray. Tainted for good if all or part of it is true. Most of us already knew it was true, now if we have the proof hopefully we can say hah you piece of chit, and move on.

I hope they take away all his awards and records during his drug use if it is confirmed,,, we place some of these people way to high and all but worship them as gods. I have all but stopped watching pro sports just for some of these reason's, bribes, drug use, pay-off's and when they commit a crime they usally just buy their way out of it.
I remember hearing Babe Ruth use to use items to enhance his performance,,, lets see there was BEER and oh yea a cabbage leaf under his hat to help keep him cool. Never heard of him rolling it up and smoking it later but who knows :p

It was pretty obvious to me he is cheating. These headlines are about as shocking to me as when I learned the Babe was drunk...Palmeiro did shock me though,

Well you could tell he was on the juice. Look at his rookie card pic and a pic of him in his "prime". I know guys get big from working out but not that big.

Steroids are all over the place. When kids see that heros can do it, Mark McGuire, Bonds, etc. and they do so well, they will start using. We are not seeing a big increase in steroids in college, but they are increasing at the high school level. There was even an article in Men's Health where a cop said that every police officer should do a cycle or two every now and then to keep an edge on the crooks.

I hope they throw the book at him. As much money as he gets paid, for being "so good" and all because he cheated.

What a looser.

bad thing is nothing will happen to him. There will be no astrick by his name. He will go on to break all the records and still end up in the hall. Shame and they keep Rose out.

Hopefully his body will breakdown from the lack of steroids and he won't break Hank's record.

He may not make Ruth's numbers. Now let see 1 every 11 trips to the plate or 1 every 17 trips to the plate and one pitched for seven seasons for the Red Soxs.

Well, apparently the time frame involved in his use of steroids, it was not "illegal" in baseball, so on the surface doesn't seem he broke any baseball rules. On the same note, gambling on baseball was "illegal" in the baseball circle.

As to astricks in the record book, guess there should be a ton of them, this guy did this during a 90 game season, this one during a 120 day season and these were accomplished during a 162 game schedule (or whatever the season lenght was at certain periods of baseball history). Not to mention, this one was accomplished after weight training and strength condition were estabished after scientifc studies, used to...........

This guy did this hungover or still drunk from the escapades the night before ballgames.

Times change, and as times change, well, eventually certain policies change, thus steroids at a time were not frowned upon in baseball, but as the health risks became apparent, baseball stepped in for the players safety I assume.

Have Jeep will travel :D
