Flea-
Don't know if you've participated in the Free Squidder offer on your banner, but you should know that this is a bit of a rip. I spent 20 minutes answering the questions and then at the end was constantly re-directed to some Psoriasis Page that there wasn't any way top decline the offer. Needless to say I don't ahve Psoriasis and if I closed out the page, ot popped back up when I pushed continue.
No critique of you, mind you...or your wonderful site...but they certainly don''r make if "Free" since you have to participate in some (Maybe three) offers to get the reel. The offers all cost something in ne way or another.
Know you have to pay the bills....so I ubnderstand the need for paying advertisers. Good luck!

Lesson learned nothing in this life is free......If sounds to good to be true then it usually is......I get 20 of those type ads in my junk mail everyday that is why I have a filter set up to remove them. The ones that are the biggest scams are the ones that offer anything from free 500.00 gift cards to home depot or any number of places to free televisions remember it is supposed to be free....oh yea after you sign up to at a minimum three of the sponsers listed....oh yea you find this out after spending 20 minutes signing up....the sponsers are all some for of credit card or buying club like columbia record house/book club...all of them are scams best to just ignore all those "free" ads

I took the bait for the free fishing gift card one.
The gift card was real, but you had to sign up for and complete some of the offers.
I signed up for video professor and something else. I paid I think $20 total for initial item and shipping and handeling.
They sent the authorization in for my gift card approval. Then I canceld the trial offers.
Canceling before the trial period expires is CRITICAL.
I think the site is called memolink.com
Did a few offers, got a few $10 gift cards and a pair of walkie talkies, 2 cheap digital cameras, some free coffee, etc.
You have to play around and find the deals and the ones that sub offers and free stuff
All in all, i had to spend money but I did get the two $100 BPS gift cards.

WEll..the thing that ticked me is that they said you ahde only toparticipate in the survey..which I did. Then you ahve to accept three of the offers , which all cost money.......More than the Squidder is worth actually. I mean it's a good reel..I have one and would like a second. But the thing is available for less than participation in the offers costs.

Sorry about that. The ads that run above come from Google. Thousands of things get advertised and I have no control over what shows.
Frankly, anything that is listed as "free" probably isn't. The vast majority of ads that show are legit, but some are probably crap. Just keep clicking them to support the site.

I actually tried the ad you were talking about. You're right--total BS.
The good thing is that Google tends to remove companies like that over time. They try to keep legit businesses advertising.
