I'm not sure I can take my new dog fishing this spring. I'm terrified he might tear someones arm off. I know the risks of having such an animal in public, but with some proper training I think things will work out.

Long and short of it from an former k-9 officer
Size don't matter
If he / she is a lover, take the dog. Will get you lots of intros to women on the each.
If he / she is a fighter...leave it home. Training notwithstanding, if the dog views a threat to you, your stuff or anything else he / she will probably bite someone and that will be an incredible pain for you in the long run.
If you posted this as a joke, then disregard all of the above. :)

I think you should name him "Chalupa"!
"Yo Quiero Taco Bell":p
Watch, when I meet him now he will bite my ankle! He's a cute one, just make sure he don't swim out too far!

Chapa, are you sure that's a dog? :p
My daughter wants a dog badly. So, we took the neighbor's little chit k-9 to the house Monday.
After that experinece, there's no way she's getting one.
Pain in the arse, those things.
We had four kids and that damn dog at the house all day. I needed a several stiff drinks by the time we got rid of the mutt and the kids went to bed.
Good luck, Chapa. You're gonna need it.

Yup, it's a dog. The wife and daughter suckered me into saying yes. It belongs to the wife but like everything else.....It's me that will wind up taking care of it. I'm not sure if I like the dam thing yet, he doesn't do much. We'll see in time.
