First, I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, I wasn't sure which one to post it in. I live in Camden, NC and have been reading all of these positive posts regarding Randy and the great service he provides to anglers and to the P&Sers. So, I loaded up and took a trip up to see Randy at the Portsmouth shop to see what all the hoopla is about. Personally I, like many of you, prefer to spend my money somewhere where I think the money stays local. Anyway, I get there and had one of the best tackle purchasing experiences of my life!!! I could not, and still can't, get over the savings I walked away with, not to mention one of the nicest people you will ever meet. While I was there, a guy came up and had $23 worth of tackle to go fishing after a hard weeks work. Well, the only credit card he had was Disc@*#$, I think and the Baitshack don't accept that one, most people don't and Randy said just write your name and number down here and go one fishing and you can come back and pay me later!!! Randy didn't know him from ADAM!!!! You just don't see that everyday in this ratrace. Great prices and a great person...all in the same store...unbelievable! OK I'll stop now but it has been about 25 years since I've seen that kind of trust and commitment from anyone in business. One more thing, there was an item I was looking for and Randy said "I'm out of it at the moment but since you came this far, if you want, I'll ship it to you free of charge when it comes in for coming all the way up here. The Baitshack has all of my business from here on out!!!!!!!
