What is the story with JM Pier in Wilmington? Is it
a worthwhile effort? Anything biting now?

..Johnnie Mercers Pier at Wrightsville bch...well they have caught 3 fine cobia this year..57 lb. ..and 2 at 60 lb....lost a couple of kings..
..they are getting the usual plugging blues and a few spanish like everyone else...bottom fish at night....
..$8 a rod..$24..to king fish...TONS OF TOURIST...$1.50 AN HOUR TO PARK!!!!..
..SEASON TICKET..$300 FOR 1 ROD, PLUGGING AND BOTTOM FISHING..
..$500.00 SEASON TICKET TO KING FISH!!!.
..clear water 90% of the time..and to be honest there are a lot more fish there than they catch!!
imho..the beach is blanket to blanket with bodies even during the week!!..when the tide goes out there is "bath tub ring" left of the sand!!!
...if you LIKE A CROWED BEACH..thats extremely OVER-PRICED....johnnies is your place!!:D
