How bad is it gonna be?

I have an extended boating trip planned for 7-5 to 7-8. With all the rain I am wondering when the muddy water will hit the PLO area for the Potomac and Susq. etc.? I know the chanel will stay clean but what about the water closer to shore, when will the mud hit? How long will it stay stained?

Thats a good question Lippy ... I wish I knew the answer. I have a 4 day weekend ahead and I was planning on fishing from my boat at least 2 days. I am now thinking it might be prudent to go to the ocean and do some surf fishing.

Anybody have any real clue on this ??

There is no mud in the mouth of the bay the water is surprisingly clear
