Fishing is hot and heavy just like the weather. The busy days on the bay are producing croaker, spot, rock, perch, rays, blowfish, blues and our first flounder of the season. I'm glad to see the flatties back after dissapearing last year. The blowfish has been a complete suprise. It has been a salty season with Sea Turtle sitings in eastern bay to catching flounder in muddy/stained water. The White perch has been a steady bite with the biggest perch hitting minnows drifted on the bottom. The spot are not picky and croaker are prefering peeler or squid. My evening fishing trips are producing more croaker as the perch and spot die down. We have been blessed this year with excellent weather and no tropical storms (knock on wood). All together we are pretty pleased with this season. I have crabbing to do Saturday and probably back to my sunday get away (Loch Raven).

Until the next time tight lines and good luck.

I don't live too far from Loch Raven, and if you'd like to get together one Sunday (or for a trip on the Bay) - shoot me a reply or a PM.
