Finally got out in the water after some minor boat work on my buddy's boat. Pulled out at 10 a.m. Drifted the whole day back in and along the shore from Grandview to Buckroe. Caught a few croaker, about 4 blues, 1 tiny trout, 3-4 mullet, 1 crab and about 20 sand sharks:eek: Using fish bellies trying to catch flounder, but the little sharkies were liking it more. Fished from 10 - 6:30 p.m. Most everything ate the squid and bw fishbites. Did try one thing different though - pulled some very hard dried up clam fishbites from last year, stuck it on a hook and it did catch a couple of fish still, though not as productive as the fresh bw.
