Does anyone have any experience with the Mitchell Nautil reels? I've seen them advertised, and they have a hefty price (for my budget). I haven't seen many in use, but I read an article on the internet (I think it was a striper fishing website), and the author wasn't impressed with the reel. Just curious.

I have one and its a decent reel... one drawback is if it goes bad, you are going to have to send it back to Mitchell... complicated.
Bottom line is, if you don't need a waterproof reel there are better options.

thanks for the input, may try to pick one up and try it someday; I love trying out different reels.
