theres a lot of guys up here that have been using them for years.
they add as much as 20% to your casting distence.
up here during the spring bass run a lot of guys chuck clans in the surf myself included.
they can realy help on windy days if the fish are feeding on an otter bar.
there easey to make your self just buy one and copy. yuo can buy the inpack shield at most places that sell the rigs.
the pully rig typ i think is the best.
break away also makes spudnic sinked that has an impack shield bilt in the wigth itself.
they also work very well.

Big baits tend to make the Impact Leads wobble in flight, best to stick with the Impact Shield. BB
