Edit feature restored

The edit feature has been restored to all usergroups. From here on out, posters will be able to alter the title of their post or the body of the post itself for 5 minutes.

The reason for the time limit is to prevent problems already detailed in a previous thread (http://www.pierandsurf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29490). But now you'll be able to go back and clean up mistakes before the concrete sets.

Your efforts won't go un-noticed. I can personally say....I do plan to use it quite often. :D

As a matter of fact...I took it for a test drive about 8 minutes ago. ;)

The good news is....I just beat the deadline by 20 or so seconds. :rolleyes:

The best news is....my age-ing behind now has another weapon to add to the arsenal of mental allertness stimuli.... a deadline. :)

Manual Edit :rolleyes: ..Line 4 should have the words..."beat the deadline" changed to "made it".

I'll set the egg timer next time I make a post.:D

Thank you Flea. I was hoping for 10-15 minutes since the edit and delete would not happen until a couple of responces had happened (hours later most of the time). Then the guilty party would make everybody look stupid.
