My first Post!! (it's a question)

Last year was my first fishing trip to NC (Nags Head). Question is this, I caught my share of spot off the beach the biggest was about an 8 incher. Are they all that small or did I just get the runts? And do you keep the small ones? I threw them all back.

Spot make great bait. The bigger ones here in Va tend to run in the fall. So time of year that you were there could also have had to do with the size. Its a good question for the NC forum.;)
