And since am a Cowboy fan, we already know who will win the game.

Me, first football, then after the 1 o'clock games, head to Merriweather and catch the Ben Harper/Damien Marley show.
Have Jeep will travel :D
Oh and Doggie, a poll like that would depend on what's biting, to determine which is more worth it, like quality vs. quality.

My perfect Sunday, striper fishing with my two boys (and catching) in a crisp chilly evening. Oh yea no wife anywhere in the vicinity :D :D Sitting on the beach with the heavers out, waves rolling in, radio dialed into the Redskins vs the Cowboys (well any opponent would do) Reeling in the big stripers as I listen to my skins crushing the unfortunate team that drew the short straw that weekend :D :D :D :D Then sipping my favorite cold one. Dont get any better than that

just fish on non-sundays.....:)
I'll generally watch my game and then go fishing or vice versa if it's game day. But it depends on the bite. A few times, the portable radio has had to come along........

Saw some of the game. Time for Bledsoe to sit.
Some of his passed looked like a rookie was throwing them.

I used to be a huge Skins fan over 20 years ago. I stopped watching when Gibbs stopped handing the ball to Riggins and benched Manley. Shortly thereafter I could afford my own fishing rods and could drive etc and never looked back. I'm a casual fan now but if it is a day off work...I gotta be fishing somewhere somehow.

Sat around sunday flippin between the 1:00 games while I was tying rigs for sharks and the upcoming Striper season . About 7:00 couldn't resist getting a line wet so I went out behind the Apt in Chesapeake to a 2 acre pond that no one thinks has fish and on the first cast caught a nice fat 13" bass . Spent @ 1/2 hour tossing lines and wound up with 4 nice fat bass in 30 minutes . All released for the next time I get only a half an hour to fish ! Came back in and finished watching the game ! Overall a great day !

ok who are the 3 boneheads that would rather sit around and rot in front of the idiot box rather than go fishing. I will never understand how people can get so much enjoyment out of watching someone else do something. Why watch someone do something when you could go out and do it yourself? oh yea that would take effort.

yes your right but I have to do something at work right! And sadly until I hit the lotto or become a pro surfer or fisherman:rolleyes: , I have to work to do the things I like and to live of course. therefore work at this point in time for me is unavoidable but rotting away in front of the idiot box is avoidable. Sure I rott on a daily basis, but I can't imagine ever choosing to watch tv over fishing, of course I do live in Va Beach where there is almost always something biting.

i agree lol i used to live in hampton and i miss being able to go any direction for 10 minutes and wet some lines. here its more like 45 minutes to the bay and 2.5hrs to the coast . i prefer fishing its just right now im in serious football withdraw. :D i only put the "idiot box" 1st when its a good gm. seeing the gm afterwards just wont cut it. its like watching the super bowl monday morning.....not..lol:D good luck down there and tight lines!

OK - if it ain't Rugby, it's silly. And what's called "football" here isn't football nor Rugby.

And coaching the younger generation, I often see things that I use to relive my past and or find a technique that can offer a young child a better skill.
As an angler, I fish all year long. I usually attend church on Sunday and my wife fixes a fantastic dinner. Now lets see......God.....family.......Food.
Maybe I'll catch something...watching the sun come up/go down......can't forget the weather and or bugs.....

That's exactly what I do. A game lasts around 3 and a half hours out of about 14 hours of sunlight.
