I was looking at this reel and seen it has the free floating spool and a centrifugal brake but only two bearing and though this might make a decent reel for medium duty ........ solid one piece aluminium frame
M-S300 XH/H 2 BB, 1 RB 5.1 : 1 24.5" 10.30 14/330, 16/280, 20/210
anybody heard much about them?

I have the CVZ 300A which apparently they are no longer making. Very nice reel with Dawia awesome drag. The MS 300 looks to be a cheaper version of what I have but should perform I would think.

for the price .... $60 ..... it would be a good reel I think for a few years with good care. I bought a Daiwa 30SHA last month ..... gotta get the Mag kit for it yet ..... but i think it would fit nicely on the Daiwa Sealine 10' MH Rod rated for 3-6oz's ......

The 300s is a good reel I own three of them but not casted them in the surf, used mostly from a boat or pier.
