Sorry for this really stupid Q! in a recent post that i made about ny penn 545 blowing up several board members suggested magging my reel using 1/4" x 1/10" rare earth mags from Leevalley, unfortunatly they will not ship via air to Hawaii only ground mail, which puts me in a disavantage. I found another site "k & J magnetics'' that sell magnets of various sizes and shapes, the only thing is.....they did not have the size recommend to me, the closest thing that i was able to get is the 1/4" x 1/8" neodymium mag, will this suffice? i realize that this mags are a hair bit larger, will this become an issue with the space between the reel plate and the spool? I am sorry if this is a stupid Q's, i just hate spending money where its not needed. thanks
