Since I have been monitoring this forum for 4 years, it only seems right that I introduce myself. I am a 58 y.o. retired paramadic who lives in Columbia, SC. My love of Salt Water fishing began in 1972 while working with my father in Beaufort, NC. He built the waste treatment facility there. After work we would troll for bluefish near Shakleford Banks. Oh!! fried bluefish "nuten beta". I have not done much surf fishing, but have fished some of the inlets and sounds. I have fished the north end of Carolina Beach "Boy has that changed in the last 5 years. Anyway since I live so far from the outer banks you guys and this forum have kept the fire of desire burning.
