does anyone know how often the google satellite images are renewed, or how often they update?hours?days?weeks?

It's years. They have just got the OVP on it recently. I understand it depends on the area I think though.

google earth seems to be little more up to date.

Also, live.com is a new satellite mapping thingamaroo from Microsoft. Can't say if it's more current that the others.

Google Earth is of what I was speaking - it's satellite imagery varies depending on area you're looking at.

the images can be pretty old. My buddy's neighborhood in GA wasn't there and it's been around since like 1995
