I live here on Hatteras Island... Last weekend my son and I stumbled onto a rod and reel combo that evidently had been yanked out of the holder and into the water. My son asked me to help him get some stray line off the beach and wallah there was a rod and reel attached,looked brand new..
The stretch of beach was near the inlet,and there were absolutly no vehicles on it. We told The Roost and Frisco Rod and Gun about the find.. I dropped the reel off at Frisco Rod and Gun to clean the sand and salt out.. I went to pick the reel up last night,they told me someone had came in there and bought a new combo.. They also said he had a story about loosing one as well..
IF this man is looking on the net,get up with me at 252-995-6769.. All you need to do is answer a couple of questions,to verify the rod and reel as being your's,hopefully pay for the reel cleaning,and the rod and reel is your's.. :)
