Grommet, I push the menhaden issue here at work every chance I get.

I've been working at the same TV station for almost a decade now. I'm glad to say we hired a reporter last year who was interested in my weekly menhaden pitches. Her name is Tina Kim. She's on maternity leave for a couple more weeks. I hope Tina and I can work together in the future on the menhaden issue when she returns.

There was some talk of getting video of the bycatch from the Omega boats. That's not gonna be easy. The best video I've seen of their operation was shot by Greenpeace. They shot some awesome aerials of the boats - and planes - in action. They used to have a link to the video on their website, but it's gone now. The video doesn't get much better, trust me.
