A sting silver is a metal lure much like the Hopkins, Krocadile and Kastmaster lure. It is cast out and retrieved either in a fast action or bounced along the bottom or if in a boat it can be jigged up and down in a vertical fashion.

Sting Silvers come in many different weights and shapes unlike the Hopkins that have the same shape for all sizes. Sting Silvers come in different shapes for the different weights witch range from about 1/8 of an ounce to about 9 ozs.

This is my favorate metal lure to cast to the striped ones in the fall and early winter months. My favorate size is the 1 5/8 oz because it looks like a tiny bait fish.

In Erma. Between Wildwood and Cape May. I fish from Ocean City south when I can.

went to high scool at middle.
used to hang out with a lot of guys from rio grand
goshen and erma.
used to shoot pool at menez,s
back when it was a arcade.
alos worked the door at a few bars in wildwood.
